PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static pressure fluid guiding device which can keep high rigidity between guideways stably even if unevenness is caused in a processing accuracy and an assembling accuracy, and a machine tool using the static pressure fluid guiding device.SOLUTION: A static pressure fluid guiding device comprises: a fixed body 19 having vertical guideways 16a and 17a; a movable body 14 having vertical slide surfaces 14a1 and 14a2; a fluid feeding device 33; a static pressure pocket 34 energize the movable body with first energization force F1 by adding first hydrostatic pressure P1 responding to a size of a gap L1; and a hydraulic oil pressure pocket 35 energize the movable body with second energization force F2 by adding second hydrostatic pressure P2 responding to a size of a gap L2. The variation of the second hydrostatic pressure P2 is less than the variation of the first hydrostatic pressure P1. When the first energization force and the second energization force are balanced in a horizontal direction, the gap L1 between the vertical guideway 16a and the vertical slide surface 14a1 is a preset value. |
