PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer ring for bearing and a wheel bearing device capable of restricting a deformation of an outer raceway surface even if a position of a contact surface of an inner member with a flange of a knuckle in a direction of its rotating axis is not uniform.SOLUTION: An outer member 2 of a wheel bearing device 1 integrally comprises: a cylindrical main body 20 having, at an inner peripheral surface 20b, a first outer raceway surface 201 for rotating a plurality of rollers 31 of a first roller row 310 of the first and second roller rows 310, 320 having a plurality of rollers 31, 32 in a peripheral direction, a second outer raceway surface 202 for rotating a plurality of rollers 32 of the second roller row 320; a flange 21 arranged to project from an outer peripheral surface 20a of the main body 20 in a diametral outer direction; and an annular protrusion 22 arranged to protrude in a diametral inner direction between the first outer raceway surface 201 and the second outer raceway surface 202 at the inner periphery of the main body 20, and enhancing rigidity of the main body 20.
