The present invention relates to a string for protecting crops and a manufacturing method thereof for inducing or supporting the branch or stem of crops in cultivation and, more specifically, to a string for protecting the crops and a manufacturing method thereof. The string is manufactured by cooling and heating the extruded string after extruding a mixed compound including a blowing agent, silicon, and a resin compound, in which polypropylene resin and polyethylene resin are mixed, as a string shape. In addition, the present invention does not generate lint generated by wind or the movement of the crops in the inducement and supporting of the crop because the extruded string is originated as a single shape which is not overlapped; the strength degradation problem of the string for protecting the crops are solved because the lint is not generated; and the silicon included in the compound facilitates the elongation of string when the string is elongated. |
