PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of reducing unnecessary use of clear coating material and saving user's labor and time.SOLUTION: When reading image data with a scanner, the image processing apparatus performs area separation of the read image data and thereby discriminates a specific area on an image represented by the image data. The image processing apparatus further forms the image on a paper medium using the image data and thereafter performs clear coating on the discriminated specific area, with respect to the paper medium having the image formed thereon. |
