PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an alarm caused by a maintenance work without registration of a maintenance work plan in advance. SOLUTION: A maintenance device 1 includes: a receiving unit for receiving a message from a facility device; a maintenance work range information storage; a maintenance work range specific function unit for registering the facility device that is a message transmission source into the maintenance work range information storage on receipt of a response message to a start-time command, which is input at the start of the maintenance work, and for deleting the facility device of the message transmission source from the maintenance work range information storage on receipt of a response message to an end-time command, which is input at the completion of the maintenance work; and a determination unit for determining, on receipt of an alarm which is a message to notify abnormality from the facility device, the alarm is caused by the maintenance work if the facility device of the alarm transmission source is stored in the maintenance work range information storage.
