FIELD: personal use articles.SUBSTANCE: presented is an ironing station 1; 52 with an iron 2 and a portable base 4 intended or installation of the iron 2 and having a recession 18 for accommodation of the iron 2 sole 6 and a fixation device for the iron 2 fixation on the base 4. The fixation device has a receptacle element 20 for receiving the front section of the iron 2 sole and a turning retention element 22; 54 for fixation of the rear section of the iron 2 body 12. The retention element 22; 54 is designed in the form of a bracket, is spring-loaded in the direction of its non-operational position and fits into the recession 18 while in the non-operational position.
