PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase compensation device, a light receiver, a light transmission system and a phase compensation method capable of suppressing the deterioration of the use efficiency of a frequency, and achieving highly accurate phase estimation.SOLUTION: A phase compensation device includes: a pilot tone separation part (10) for separating pilot tone signal components and a main signal from a received modulation signal; a matching part (20) for separating the pilot tone signal components separated by the pilot tone separation part for each frequency to acquire a plurality of pilot tone signals whose frequencies are different; a plurality of phase synchronization circuits (30to 30) respectively phase-synchronized with the plurality of pilot tone signals acquired by the matching part; a phase estimation part (40) for estimating the phases of the pilot tone signals from the output signals of the plurality of phase synchronization circuits; and a phase noise compensation part (50) for compensating the phase noise of the main signal separated from the modulation signal on the basis of the phases estimated by the phase estimation part.
