PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a paper feed process without an instruction as to whether a user feeds an image-printed sheet or a non-image-printed sheet as long as it is not detected that a sheet to be fed is the image-printed sheet.SOLUTION: A printing device includes: feeding means for feeding a sheet; detection means for detecting the sheet fed from the feeding means is a sheet on which an image is already printed; notification means for notifying an instruction as to whether to feed the image-printed sheet or a sheet on which no image is printed in accordance with the detection of the detection means that the sheet to be fed is the sheet on which the image is already printed; and control means for feeding the sheet on which no image is printed or the image-printed sheet in response to a user's instruction after notification by the notification means.
