PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring device for an elevator, which enables even an operator at a monitoring center capable of speaking only Japanese to confirm intention of a foreigner who is a passenger in a car.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a monitoring center 10 includes language data transmission means which transmits a plurality of pieces of abnormality confirmation information including abnormality confirmation information in Japanese and abnormality confirmation information in foreign languages as language data to a monitoring device 8 in an elevator in response to an abnormality warning from the monitoring device 8 in the elevator. An elevator control panel 7 performs processing for displaying the plurality of pieces of abnormality confirmation information in languages including Japanese and foreign languages on a display 2 in a car 1 according to the transmitted language data, and performs processing for transmitting answer information to the abnormality confirmation information, input by the depression operation of a destination floor button 5 by a passenger 6, to the monitoring center 10 while the plurality of pieces of abnormality confirmation information are displayed on the display 2. The monitoring center 10 includes an answer display 16 for displaying the transmitted answer information. |
