<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to efficiently reduce a temperature of a sheet passing through a fixing apparatus, and to smoothly discharge vapor generated by heat from the sheet to the outside.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes a conveyance path 28 leading from a fixing part 19 to a sheet discharge port 22, and an air supply mechanism 60. The air supply mechanism 60 includes a cooling fan 61 for discharging intake air, and an air duct 66 for conveying the air discharged from the cooling fan 61 to the conveyance path 28. At an end of the air duct 66 on the side of the conveyance path 28, an inclined air guide 62 is formed for guiding the air obliquely upward. The air guided obliquely upward by the air guide 62 collides with a printing sheet conveyed on the conveyance path 28 to cool the printing sheet, and forcibly discharges vapor accumulated in the conveyance path 28.</p> |
