<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power saving and secure safety of an earth leakage breaker provided to an electronic apparatus such as an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An earth leakage breaker 2 includes: a switching unit 21 that is provided on an electrical circuit between an AC power source 30 and a rectification unit 23 to switch supply and break of a power from the AC power source 30; the rectification unit 23 that rectifies the power from the AC power source 30 to be converted into a DC power; a leakage detection unit 24 that is provided between the AC power source 30 and a load 50; and a control unit 25 that causes the rectification unit 23 to perform half-wave rectification until the leakage detection unit 24 detects leakage, and causes the rectification unit 23 to perform full-wave rectification when the leakage detection unit 24 has detected leakage.</p> |
