PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corpuscular-ray beam irradiation apparatus that can irradiate an assumed irradiation position with beam, with high accuracy without stopping the irradiation of the beam even if a beam position has been moved during therapeutic irradiation.SOLUTION: The corpuscular-ray beam irradiation apparatus includes: a beam generation part; a beam scanning part for scanning a corpuscular-ray beam according to a scan indication value; a sensor part in which a plurality of a first linear electrodes are placed in parallel in a first direction and a plurality of second linear electrodes are placed in parallel in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; a center of gravity position calculation part for calculating the position of the center of gravity of the corpuscular-ray beam from first signals output from the respective first linear electrodes and second signals output from the respective second linear electrodes; and a scan control part for obtaining an error between the calculated center of gravity position and a preset reference scan position, correcting the scan indication value by feedback control suppressing the error, and outputting the corrected scan indication value to the beam scanning part. |
