PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite particles which allows for production of a power magnetic core with high filling factor and high permeability, and to provide a power magnetic core produced using the composite particles, a magnetic element including the power magnetic core, and a portable electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: A choke coil (magnetic element) has a ring-shaped power magnetic core. The power magnetic core is obtained by mixing composite particles 5 and a binder, and then molding the mixture. The composite particles 5 have first particles 3 composed of a soft magnetic material, and second particles 4 composed of a soft magnetic material and fixed to the first particles 3 so as to cover them. When the Vickers hardness of the first particles 3 is HV1, and the Vickers hardness of the second particles 4 is HV2, following relationships are satisfied; 250≤HV1≤1200, 100≤HV2<250, and 100≤HV1-HV2. When the projected area equivalent circle diameters of the first and second particles 3, 4 are d1, d2, d1 is 30-100 μm, and d2 is 2-20 μm. |
