CERAMIC KITCHEN KNIFE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic kitchen knife having excellent long-term reliability.SOLUTION: A ceramic kitchen knife includes: a blade made of ceramics having a core at a rear end portion thereof; and a handle part covering the core. Metal members hold a part of the core therebetween in the interior of the handle part. A method of manufacturing the ceramic kitchen knife includes: securing the metal members so as to hold therebetween a core included at a rear end portion of a blade made of ceramics; and disposing the core with the metal members secured thereto in a cavity of a metal mold having a shape of the handle part, and injecting heated resin into the cavity and cooling the loaded resin so as to form the handle part.
