摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which some processing time is required in performing light source estimation.SOLUTION: Shape data of a subject and reflection characteristics of the subject are acquired. Then, on the basis of the acquired shape data of the subject and the acquired reflection characteristics of the subject, resolution of a light source map is increased/decreased, thereby determining a reference light source to be used for light source estimation.
