PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene sleeve and a polyethylene sleeve construction method capable of not only successfully preventing corrosion and electric corrosion of an item to be covered, but also covering the item to be covered without any trouble even under a condition in which another pipe is connected to a branched pipe.SOLUTION: A polyethylene sleeve 11 is constituted by a sheet-like polyethylene covering material 12 and fasteners 13A, 13B for a branched pipe. In addition, the polyethylene covering material 12 comprises a branched pipe covering part 12a covering a branched pipe part 3 of an item to be covered 10 from the peripheral direction of the branched pipe part 3 and capable of overlapping both ends branched at one location against a peripheral direction of the branched pipe part 3, and a main pipe covering part 12b connected to the branched pipe covering part 12a, covering the main pipe part 2 from its peripheral direction and can be wound around it under a state in which it is branched at one location in respect to its peripheral direction. |
