PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce influences to be exerted upon a commercial power system by fluctuation in power generation output from a renewable energy power generation facility.SOLUTION: A control device 10 monitors temporally corresponding fluctuation in a total sum of power supplied from one or more renewable energy power generation facilities (e.g., photovoltaic power generation facilities) 2 connected to a power system 1 to the power system 1. The control device 10 then determines power to be generated by each of a plurality of complementary power generation facilities (e.g., gas engine power generation facilities) 3 connected to the power system 1. The determination is made so as to cancel at least a part of the fluctuation on the basis of one or more characteristic values indicating characteristics relating to a capability for each of the complementary power generation facilities 3 to change power generation output for the complementary power generation facility 3 and the fluctuation. The controller 10 commands each of the complementary power generation facilities 3 to generate the determined power. The control device 10 repeats the power determination and the command. |
