<p>Disclosed is a bicycle transmission comprising: a sprocket support unit coupled to a rotor which is coupled to the hub spindle unit on which a bicycle wheel is joined, and said support unit supports a plurality of sprockets; a latch unit interposed between the rotor and the hub spindle unit so as to suppress the rotation in one direction and allow the free rotation in the opposite direction; and a latch control unit which selectively controls the latch unit so as to allow the free rotation of the sprocket support unit relative to the hub spindle unit in the direction in which rotation is blocked so that a gear shift can be implemented while the bicycle pedal is rotating in the reverse direction and/or the bicycle wheels are stopped. The latch control unit further comprises: a brake disc or discs provided with rotary clearance relative to the hub spindle unit; a brake unit which is selectively contacted to or separated from the brake disc so as to selectively transmit brake force; and a latch control member which is coupled to the brake disc and enables the unhindered rotation of the rotor in the suppressed direction by moving the brake disc, when the brake unit is activated, by the rotary clearance, independently from the hub spindle unit, interfering with the latch unit.</p> |
