The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a method for producing a porous titanium oxide laminate, which is capable of producing a porous titanium oxide layer that contains less impurities and has high porosity even by low-temperature firing; and a dye-sensitized solar cell which uses this porous titanium oxide laminate. The present invention is a method for producing a porous titanium oxide laminate, which comprises: a step wherein a titanium oxide paste that contains fine titanium oxide particles, a (meth)acrylic resin and an organic solvent is printed over a base, thereby forming a titanium oxide paste layer on the base; a step wherein the titanium oxide paste layer is fired; and a step wherein the fired titanium oxide paste layer is irradiated with ultraviolet light. In this method for producing a porous titanium oxide laminate, the fine titanium oxide particles have an average particle diameter of 5-50 nm, and the accumulated amount of light by means of the ultraviolet irradiation is set to be 100 J/cm2 or more in the step wherein fired titanium oxide paste layer is irradiated with ultraviolet light. |
