Process for preparing a porous composite material (I) made of silicon oxide based amorphous core on which zeolite EU-1 crystals are scattered, comprises: impregnating a solid comprising a silicon oxide and an aluminum oxide with an aqueous solution comprising a quaternary diammonium cation (1a); hydrothermally treating the solid, which is implemented in an autoclave under water vapor and at 120-220[deg] C; and drying and calcining the solid to obtain the porous composite material. Process for preparing a porous composite material (I) made of silicon oxide based amorphous core on which zeolite EU-1 crystals are scattered, comprises: impregnating a solid comprising a silicon oxide and an aluminum oxide with an aqueous solution comprising a quaternary diammonium cation of formula [R 1R 2R 3-N-(CH 2) n-N-R 4R 5R 6] (1a); hydrothermally treating the solid, which is implemented in an autoclave of volume V (ml) under water vapor and a temperature T at 120-220[deg] C, where the quantity of water previously introduced into the autoclave is strictly larger in a volumic quantity equal to Vx [23.48x 10 -> 1> 0>x T 3>-48x 10 -> 8>x 10x T 2>+5x 10 -> 5>x T-0.002] and = 0.25x V and the solid is not directly contacted with water; and drying and calcining the solid to obtain the porous composite material.
