PURPOSE:To exactly peel off recording bodies having various horizontal widths without flawing an image carrying body roller, by making a rotary elastic slide-contact piece slide-contact the image carrying body roller intermittently. CONSTITUTION:A peeling blade unit 33 provided on the downstream side of a flow of a toner image of a photosensitive drum 11 of an image carrying body roller is turned centering around a shaft, its elastic sliding piece slide- contacts the drum 11 intermittently, and a recording body P onto which an image is transferred is peeled off from the drum 11. According to this constitution, recording bodies having various horizontal widths are peeled off exactly from the drum without flawing the drum 11.
