<p>The mount comprises a rectangular frame 10 and a floating strut 18 which rests on the frame to sub-divide the aperture into smaller spaces, where each space receives an electrical housing (eg a motor drive controller). The frame of the strut engages a gasket on the housing to seal each side of the frame from the other. The strut also provides mating surfaces for adjacent electrical housings. The aperture to be subdivided may, instead of a frame, be cut into the bulkhead or rear panel of an electronic equipment enclosure. Multiple housings can be installed in the same frame and the strut and gaskets provide sealing between in the inside and the outside of the frame from the ingress of dust or water.</p> |
