<p>The chainsaw has an endless cutting chain (5) rotatably mounted on a driving pinion (9) and a chain guide (6) that is provided with a guiding rail. A driving motor (8) drives the cutting chain by the pinion. A driving pump (13) e.g. peristaltic pump, drives lubrication liquid i.e. oil, towards the chain and the chain guide from a lubrication liquid storage reservoir (11). The pump is connected to an electric driving motor (13A) that is independent from the motor (8) of the chain (5). An independent claim is also included for a method of lubricating a cutting device of a chainsaw.</p> |
