A Behind-The-Ear hearing aid, comprising: functional parts of a hearing aid selected from the group consisting of at least one microphone, an input converter, a signal processor, and an output converter disposed in a housing with a surface, said surface of said housing having a microphone opening formed therein; and said surface being formed with a shark skin structure said shark skin structure including scales having a length between 0.1 μm and 0.1 mm and having a height that is less than the length, said scales including channel-shaped recesses and rib-shaped elevations extending parallel to one another and defining a longitudinal axis substantially in forward-looking alignment of the hearing aid when the hearing aid is being worn.
