PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furring strips for a fence, which facilitate construction of the fence, and the fence constructed by using the furring strips.SOLUTION: Furring strips 3 for a fence include a spiral wire 4, the tip of which is inserted into an end 2a of a rhombic wire net 2 and which is attached to the end 2a by being fed in while being rotated on the axis, and a pipe 5 that is inserted into the spiral wire 4.
