PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an esterification reaction progress by a short time when producing an ester of a polyalcohol with a 4C aliphatic acid and a 7-9C aliphatic acid.SOLUTION: A reaction vessel 1, a cooler 2, and an oil water separator 3 are used, a polyalcohol, a 4C aliphatic acid, and a 7-9C aliphatic acid are fed in the reaction vessel 1 to perform esterification reaction. Gas generated during reaction is sent to the cooler 2 to be liquid, the liquid is separated to an oil layer and an aqueous layer in the oil water separator 3, while the oil layer is returned to the reaction vessel 1, the esterification reaction is continued, and the 7-9C aliphatic acid is supplied to the oil water separator 3. |
