The photovoltaic system has an inverter (50) connected with a photovoltaic generator (1) over DC current spacers (3, 4), and electronic components (20) connected to power sources with the photovoltaic generator. A power source unit is connected with the DC current spacers for alternatively supplying power to the electronic components over the DC current spacers. The power source unit is formed as a power supply (53), which is connected with a power supply network (6) at an input side and with the DC current spacers at an output side. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a test specification system.
