<p>A transport window arrangement comprising at least two spaced parallel sheets 110, 112 retained in a fixed window frame 140. A seal 118 bears against an outer surface 142 of and outermost window sheet 112. The window sheets 110, 112 being connected by a rigid connector 144 fixed to the outer edges that extend orthogonally to the plane of the sheets 110, 112 and the connector 144 is fixed to the outer edges prior to the location of the sheets in the frame. As an alternative a seal 118 may extend through a neck leading to a channel and cooperate with both sides of the channel along the length of the channel and the seal being biased against the outer surface of the outer most sheet 110, 112. Preferably the connector is 144 is metal and adhered to the metal connector 144 across their ends which connector extends a small way along the outer face of the outermost sheet. A seal 118 may be located in a channel 136 with the seal extending over the connector 144 and being biased against the outermost surface of the outer sheet to retain the sheets 110 and 112 in position.</p> |
