<p>An indoor unit for this air conditioner, which uses a flammable refrigerant, is provided with the following: a refrigeration-cycle structure comprising refrigerant piping and a heat exchanger inside which the flammable refrigerant is contained; and an electrical-discharge means that discharges into air drawn into the indoor unit. Said electrical-discharge means is disposed so as to discharge into air that is higher up than the refrigeration-cycle structure, thereby preventing ignition of the refrigerant due to discharges from the electrical-discharge means, resulting in a high level of safety.</p> |
