In a rectilinear motion bearing, for a sliding door, for example, a guide 11, Fig. 1, has a dome-shaped channel 13 and internallydirected projections 16 which are engaged by a mushroom-shaped head 18 of a track 12. A recess 26, Fig. 4, facilitates the attachment of the guide 11 to a door 23 by screws 24. The track 12 is press-fitted into a channel 27 in a support 28. On assembly the head 18 of the track is forced between the resilient projections 16 of the guide 11. An alternative guide 29, Fig. 2, comprises a cover 30 with holes 35 therein which receive an axle 34 carrying a wheel 33 whose concave periphery 36 engages the head 18 of the track 12. |
