The present invention relates to a silencer for reducing noise generated when boiler steam is released into the atmosphere and, more specifically, to a silencer for a boiler, which includes a blocking member provided in a main body, and a sound absorbing material charged between the main body and the blocking member. The blocking member consists of a first blocking member and a second blocking member, the first blocking member is provided in the second blocking member, and a sound-buffering member is provided in the first blocking member. Thus, noise can be reduced efficiently. In addition, the silencer for a boiler according to the present invention can spread steam by a resonance chamber formed between the first and second blocking members, and can cause steam to easily flow into the resonance chamber and the sound absorbing material through the sound-buffering member provided in the first blocking member, thereby providing improved noise reduction effects. |
