<p>The method involves connecting an electrically conductive cable (13) to motor vehicle (1) and the charging unit (6) such that removal of the charging unit from motor vehicle is performed by disconnecting the cable. An alarm system is triggered while disconnecting the cable. A plug (11) provided at one end of the cable is connected with a trailer socket (3) of motor vehicle. A socket (12) provided at another end of the cable is connected with a trailer plug (9). An independent claim is included for safety device for securing charging unit at motor vehicle.</p> |
