PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid compression device capable of reducing power consumption even when the capacity of a tank is large or when the amount of fluid consumption is close to the amount of delivery of an operating compressor body.SOLUTION: A fluid compression device includes a plurality of compressor bodies for compressing fluid, a tank for storing the fluid compressed by the compressor bodies, and a control unit for controlling an operation and stop operation cycle of the compressor bodies. When a pressure in the tank becomes equal to or higher than a stop pressure, the control unit stops a compressor body whose operation has been stopped from a previous operation cycle for a time period equal to a prescribed time or longer among the plurality of compressor bodies so as to reduce the number of operating compressors, and stops the plurality of compressor bodies when the pressure in the tank is higher than an upper limit pressure higher than the stop pressure. |
