PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving detectability of the amount of change in the frequency of an input signal.SOLUTION: A frequency detection device 20 is configured to detect the amount of change in frequency of an input signal. The frequency detection device 20 includes: a phase comparison part 31 for generating a feedback signal synchronizing with the input signal on the basis of a phase difference signal expressing a phase difference between the input signal and the feedback signal, and for generating the phase difference signal by using the input signal and the feedback signal; a movement averaging part 40 for performing the movement averaging processing of the output signal of the phase comparison part 31, and for outputting it as a detection signal; and a clock signal generation part 50 for generating a clock signal for controlling a sampling cycle in the movement averaging part 40 in accordance with the cycle of the feedback signal of the phase comparison part 31. |
