The sensor (24) has a housing provided with a receiving space. Two wall sections are arranged in the receiving space of the housing. The second wall section faces the first wall section. A current leading element penetrates into the receiving space of the housing, and is attached at a terminal clamp (30) of a vehicle battery (16). A holding part is provided on an outer side of the housing between the wall sections. Halts of the housing are provided at the terminal clamp. The holding part is formed in rod-shaped. A through-hole is formed in the terminal clamp.
