The unit is intended to be used with a Solar PV installation. The unit also allows for multiple communication methods including manually instructing the unit with input buttons on the unit, an electricity network that is able to instruct the unit using Audio Frequency Load Control (AFLC) ripple control signals, or providing settings through an internet portal. The multiple communication options of the unit allow for installation into a wide variety of residences. In addition to being able to receive settings from an internet portal, the unit is also able to upload critical information such as voltage, wattage, amps, and temperature.
