PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle hybrid system capable of combining suppression of electric energy consumption with noise reduction.SOLUTION: There is provided a hybrid system 100 for use in a vehicle 1 running by using drive force of an engine 2 and that of a motor 4. The hybrid system 100 includes: a noise calculation part 11 for calculating a level of noise emitted from the vehicle 1 at a spot position in a running direction of the vehicle 1; a noise accumulation part 12 for calculating a cumulative value of the noise levels calculated by the noise calculation part 11; a noise determination part 13 for determining whether the cumulative value of the noise levels calculated by the noise accumulation part 12 exceeds a set value; and engine control part 14 for suppressing or stopping rotation of the engine 2 when the noise determination part 13 determines that the cumulative value of the noise levels has exceeded the set value.
