<p>The press redresses damaged vehicle chassis and bodywork. It uses a substructure or bed of braced (4-7) longitudinal metal sections (1,2,3) to form tracks for slides (10,11), and various tools with mensuration gear are mounted on the slides. These support of a vehicle and give controlled redressing. A partic. slide locates a turret-mounted jack which can apply thrust in any direction. Graduated scales (8,,) for longitudinal control may be provided on the top faces of outer beams (1,3), slides (10,11) using runner (14,15) -mounted channel sections (17,18) with a tie plate (19) to form seats for the tool bases.</p> |
