<p>The invention comprises 8 : 81-diamino-1 : 11-dianthraquinonyl and a process for making diamino-1 : 11 dianthraquinonyls by heating two molecular proportions of a 1-acylaminoanthraquinone containing a halogen atom in another a -position with at least one atomic proportion of copper and splitting off the acyl groups from the resulting diacylamino-1 : 1-dianthraquinonyl. The products are red and yellow pigments and 8 : 81-diamino-1 : 11-dianthraquinonyl dyes cellulose fibres yellow tints from a vat.</p> |
