摘要 The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a metal composite having metal nanocrystals on the surface thereof by using a galvanic substitution reaction; and an electrode for a fuel cell thereof. The manufacturing method according to the present invention does not need to use an electrode or a reducing material for reducing metal ions. The metal composite manufactured by the method according to the present invention can be applied to fuel cells etc. because the metal composite has high activity and durability compared with an existing Pt/C catalyst in a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMPC) owing to ultrafine metal nanocrystals with high density stably fixed on the surface of particles in uniform distribution.
