<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and an image forming apparatus capable of maintaining excellent printing quality in continuous printing.SOLUTION: A developing device 100 comprises: a developing roller (a developer carrier) 1; a toner supply roller (a first supply member) 2 counter to the developing roller 1 and supplying a developer to the developing roller 1; an auxiliary supply roller (a second supply member) 10 in contact with the toner supply roller 2 and supplying the developer to the toner supply roller 2; and a casing 11c accommodating the developer fed to the auxiliary supply roller 10. The toner supply roller 2 consists of metal. The values of resistance of the auxiliary supply roller 10 before and after an energization test are within a range between 7.48 LogΩand 8.90 LogΩ.</p> |
