Disclosed are a compound for an organic electroluminescent device, and the organic electroluminescent device including the same. According to the present invention, the thermal stability and luminous efficiency of the organic electroluminescent device including the compound for an organic electroluminescent device can be improved, and the luminous efficiency of the organic electroluminescent device can be improved by enhancing triplet energy of a phosphorescent light-emitting material using the compound of the present invention as a hole transporting layer material.
