PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasive material for decontamination of radioactive materials that is capable of recovering more radioactive materials with one blast when blasting is applied to decontaminate buildings of nuclear energy-related facilities.SOLUTION: An abrasive material for decontamination of radioactive materials is a blast material 20 stored in a tank 6 of a decontamination device 5. The blast material 20 is obtained, by mixing zeolite with, as a material adsorbing radioactive materials, a granular material whose ion selectivity has different properties or a granular material of a high polymer material in a predetermined ratio. Radioactive materials hardly adsorbed on the zeolite are adsorbed on the high polymer material to improve decontamination efficiency.
