PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent progress of cracking in a glass film serving as a configuration element of a laminate in cutting a glass film laminate by laser fusion cutting.SOLUTION: A method of cutting a glass film laminate is based on fusion-cutting a glass film laminate G consisting of a resin plate PP adhered with a glass film GF1 on the front surface side and with a glass film GF2 on the back surface side by irradiating with a laser L along a projected cutting line, and includes fusion-cutting the whole thickness of the glass film laminate by: carrying out front surface side fusion cutting which comprises extending fusion-cut part M through the glass film GF1 on the front surface side to a depth not reaching the glass film GF2 on the back surface side by applying a laser L from the front surface side; and back surface side fusion cutting which comprises extending fusion-cut part M through the glass film GF2 on the back surface side to a depth not reaching the glass film GF1 on the front surface side by applying a laser L from the back surface side. |
