<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device in which an air bag can be extended and inflated along a surface part of a vehicle constitution member while complication of the constitution thereof is suppressed and occupant protection performance can be enhanced.SOLUTION: An air bag device S1 is so configured that an air bag 3 can be extended and inflated between a desired vehicle constitution member 81 and an occupant by inflow of inflation gas generated by an inflator 2 into the air bag 3 in a folded state. The air bag 3 has a gas jet hole 32 for jetting a part of inflation gas which is flown into the air bag 3, to a surface part side of the vehicle constitution member 81 in such a manner that said inflation gas flows along the surface part when the air bag 3 is extended and inflated.</p> |
