PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system and a method for detecting a reception power of a downlink using the system.SOLUTION: N cells in a radio communication system transmit data to at least one reception terminal using N resource blocks each having time frequency resources identical to each other. Plural channel state information reference signals of corresponding cells are disposed in each of the resource blocks, and the orthogonality is maintained among the channel state information reference signals of each cell. The method includes the steps of: disposing an additional demodulation reference signal which represents a reception power to a puncturing position corresponding to one of the channel state information reference signals disposed in a resource block of another cell in the resource block of a first cell; and detecting a reception power for the first cell on the basis of the additional demodulation reference signal.
