PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode active material layer which exhibits electrochemical property.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrode active material layer for lithium ion battery comprises the steps of: preparing a substrate and a raw material of an electrode active material; and forming the electrode active material layer on the substrate by sputtering the raw material of the electrode active material while heating the substrate at a temperature within a range of 400-600°C under an inert gas atmosphere. The electrode active material layer contains a compound expressed by the following general formula: LiMnNiCoO(where 0.5<x<1.4, 0≤y≤1 and 0≤z≤1). |
