PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase imbalance observation apparatus, an amplitude imbalance observation apparatus, and a device using them.SOLUTION: A phase imbalance observation apparatus is used for a device required for observing imbalance between an I signal and a Q signal perpendicular to each other. The phase imbalance observation apparatus comprises: a preprocessing unit which performs preprocessing to the I signal and the Q signal to extract essential information regarding correlation between the signals; and a correlation arithmetic unit which performs correlation arithmetic processing to the extracted essential information to calculate phase imbalance between the I signal and the Q signal.
