PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a respiration flow restriction detector capable of including an airway compression treatment generator.SOLUTION: A flow restriction index 506 is determined on the basis of one or more shape indices for detecting partial obstruction and an index of airflow or respiration load cycle of a patient. In this case, the shape indices are obtained on the basis of (multiple) functions that confirm possibility of presence of an M-shaped respiratory pattern and/or a chair-shaped respiratory pattern, and the index of airflow is obtained on the basis of current and previous analyses of one respiration rate in order to detect an airflow rate less than the normal airflow rate of the patient. Moreover, the load cycle index can be a proportion of respiration time to the current and previous respiration cycle time, in order to detect an increase in inspiration cycle time of the patient in connection with the respiration cycle time. In order to improve a detected flow restriction condition of the patient, pressure setting based on the flow restriction is used to adjust treatment pressure. |
