PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate several types of application data.SOLUTION: A communication system includes: a first communication apparatus 2 for transmitting application data in a periodically assigned transmission period; and a second communication apparatus 3 for receiving the application data transmitted from the first communication apparatus. The first communication apparatus 2 transmits the application data by adding additional information to each of the plurality of application data. The additional information includes data total number information of the application data, the data order information of the application data, and the data type information of the application data. The data total number information indicates the total number for each type of the application data. The data order information indicates the order for each type of the application data. The second communication apparatus 3 discriminates the plurality of application data on the basis of the additional information added to each of the plurality of application data.
